A Celebration of Life Funeral services for Waltho Wesley will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020, 10:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Funeral Home in Hugo, Oklahoma with Michael Frazier officiating and Bishop Malcolm Coby from Victory Temple COGIC in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Waltho passed away July 08, 2020, in Durant, Oklahoma, at the age of 84.
Waltho Wesley was born November 1, 1935, in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Joseph and Martha (Knighten) Wesley. He had lived in this area since he was in his 40's after moving here from Denver, Colorado. Waltho married Oral Jeane Covington on May 12, 2012 in DeQueen, Arkansas. He had worked as an inspector for Purina Dog Food Company in Colorado and Tyson Foods in Oklahoma, and he also was a minister of the Lord. He loved to go fishing, taking walks and being in the outdoors. He especially loved preaching God's word.
Waltho was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Martha (Knighten) Wesley; son, James Ricky Wesley; brother, Rufus Wesley; and sisters, Marie Wesley and Helen Wesley.
Waltho is survived by his loving wife, Oral of the home; sons: Mark Wesley, Waltho Wallace Wesley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Verry Wesley of Denver, Colorado, Jerry Wesley of Seattle, Washington and Clarence Wesley of Texas; daughters: Sue Allen and husband, Clarence of Spencer, OK., Lisa Benkhalter of Wichita, Kansas, and Lynn Wesley of Denver, Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
