Tamara Kay Buckingham

Celebration of life services for Tamara Buckingham fondly known as TK will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at the First Baptist Church in Hugo, OK. Tamara passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 63.

Tamara Kay Buckingham was born November 10, 1958, to Tunis and Ella Mae Mounts, in Hutchinson, KS. She married the love of her life, Greg Thompson on November 26, 2009. Tamara had lived in this area for the past 12 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and spent her free time serving at the church and with Celebrate Recovery. She enjoyed going to the gym and working out. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles.
TK just loved life because of God’s redeeming grace in her life. The one and only thing she would want to be remembered by is her passion for her Jesus. With arms lifted high, she's praising her Jesus today! See ya later!

Tamara was preceded in death by her father, Tunis Mounts.

Tamara is survived by her husband Greg Thompson of the home; her mother, Ella Mae Mounts of Hutchinson, KS; one brother, Mark Mounts and wife, Deborah of Pearland, TX, and many friends and sisters in Christ.
