Ruth Marie Beal

Graveside services for Ruth Beal will be held on July 28, 2022, at 10.00 am at the Frogville Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma with Joshua Randall Onstott officiating. Ruth passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022, in Ft. Towson, OK at the age of 77.

Ruth Beal was born October 13, 1944, in Canyon, TX to John Roscoe and Jossie Violia (Cottrell) Cathey. She worked as a pecan harvester and as a school janitor. Ruth was a hard worker and enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles, going camping with family and friends, and cookouts were her favorite gatherings. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Myrtle Lee May.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Dan of the home; sons, Thomas Leon Crumb of Hugo, OK, Larry Welch Onstott and wife, Tranna of Nashoba, OK, Stacy Ray Ontsott and wife, Shanette of Hugo, OK; daughter, Jackie Marie Campbell Walls and husband Stacy of Checotah, TX; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Cathey and Carl Cathey; one sister, Thelma Lindsey; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022, at 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. at the Mt. Olive Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.
